🌿 The Wild Art Apothecary: A Day with the Dandelion Hosted by ECCarter Art & Field and Fodder 25th May - 10 - 4pm Step into Spring with us for a day of wild creativity and herbal alchemy as we reconnect with nature through the wisdom of one of its most misunderstood plants – the humble Dandelion. Held at the beautiful Field and Fodder - Durham, this workshop is a collaboration between Emily from @ECCarterArt and Chloe of @FieldandFodder. Together, we’ll explore the dandelion’s rich history, its many uses, and how it can inspire both art and wellbeing. Expect foraging, potion-making, creating, storytelling, and plenty of grounded connection. Meet Your Hosts: 🌼 Chloe – Field and Fodder Chloe studied Chemistry at Newcastle University, followed by a master’s in Medicinal Plants and Functional Foods (yes, that’s basically plant magic… with science!). She spent six years working in the chemical industry, manufacturing natural flavours and fragrances from essential oils and plant extracts. After becoming a mum, Chloe left the industry and followed her heart – transforming a space on her family farm into Field and Fodder: a thriving shop, café, event venue and holistic studio. She now hosts creative and wellbeing workshops and brings her deep love of plants to everything she does. 🎨 Emily – ECCarter Art Emily is an artist, art educator and creative guide who specialises in reconnecting people to themselves through art. A former art teacher with years of experience, she now runs expressive art and meditation classes for adults, exploring everything from watercolours and acrylics to energy painting and intuitive creativity. Her workshops are soulful, accessible and full of encouragement – helping people slow down, listen inwardly, and make space for self-expression. ✨ Workshop Details: 🌿 Explore the history and healing properties of dandelion 🎨 Create your own artwork inspired by nature 🧴 Make your own herbal lotions & potions 📍 Held at Field and Fodder - Durham - (Aldin Grange Fishery, Durham, GB DH7 7AR) 🧘‍♀️ A relaxed and nurturing space to learn, create and connect We want to engage children and help them learn about these things.
